General information
With your registration for a personal Neurostatus e-Test account you will be provided with various tools to easily administer your e-Test activities on Neurostatus.net, as an Individual User or in the context of multi-centre or single-centre clinical studies.
IMPORTANT NOTE: As of early August 2013, a major security update was performed on Neurostatus.net. This update will require a renewal of access information for all registered EDSS Raters.
Registered EDSS Raters will be guided through a migration process when they access the system with their existing access information.
Registration / Login
- Please select link: http://www.neurostatus.net/index.php?file=login
- The first time you access Neurostatus e-Test, you will be asked to register for your personal Neurostatus e-Test account.
- Select E-TEST LOGIN FOR EDSS RATERS and then SIGN UP! (*When entering your information, please be aware that only Latin characters are permitted).
- Select a study. Be sure to select the correct study! Select also Administration region, if applicable.
- Complete a short questionnaire with your personal data and confirm.
- You will receive an activation email within one business day (please check also your spam folder):
- Click on the ACTIVATION LINK provided in the email and enter the ACTIVATION CODE.
- You can now create your password, security questions and answers. After confirmation, your Username will be displayed and you can now login. In addition an email containing your username will be sent to your email account.
- Complete a short questionnaire and data specific to the study for which you are seeking qualification.
- By confirming your data you will be guided to your personal Neurostatus e-Test account.
- You can now start your first e-Test trial.
- For your next visit to your personal Neurostatus e-Test account use your username and password to login.

Your personal e-Test account
Your Neurostatus e-Test account offers five sections to facilitate the handling of various activities on Neurostatus.net.

Studies/Qualifications
Shows all current clinical studies you are participating in, as well as your qualification status. In addition, you can download your Qualification Documents.
e-Test archive
Provides an overview of your current Neurostatus e-Test status with detailed information concerning Qualification Levels and achieved e-Test scores.
Personal data
Here you can review, correct or update your personal data with the exception of email (see Changing/Updating your Email)
Scoring documents
Download Neurostatus Scoring Definitions and Scoring Sheet for trials you are participating.
Login Instructions
Please login with your username and password.
- If you do not remember your username, please go to login portal and click in ‘I forgot my Username‘ and follow the instructions.
- If you do not remember your password, please go to login portal and click in ‘I forgot my Password‘ and follow the instructions.
- If you do not remember your email, please go to login portal and click in ‘I forgot my email‘ and follow the instructions.

Your request for a Neurostatus e-Test account has been rejected?
- Some of your personal data are identical to the data already registered on Neurostatus.net. Please review clause 3 in the Legal Notes of Neurostatus.net: One (1) single Neurostatus account per User: Holders of a personal Neurostatus account on Neurostatus.net are not allowed to hold other personal accounts with the same or similar names. If you notice (or suspect) the existence of additional accounts, issuing from earlier activities on Neurostatus.net, please go to the merge accounts option in this page in order to merge these accounts.
- If you already have a personal Neurostatus e-Test account and do not remember your username, please go to login portal and click in ‘I forgot my Username‘ and follow the instructions.
- If you already have a personal Neurostatus e-Test account and do not remember your password, please go to login portal and click in ‘I forgot my Password‘ and follow the instructions.

I forgot my Username, Password, and/or my email
- If you already have a personal Neurostatus e-Test account and do not remember your username, please go to login portal and click in ‘I forgot my Username‘ and follow the instructions.
- If you already have a personal Neurostatus e-Test account and do not remember your password, please go to login portal and click in ‘I forgot my Password‘ and follow the instructions.
- If you already have a personal Neurostatus e-Test account and do not remember your email, please go to login portal and click in ‘I forgot my email‘ and follow the instructions.
“CANCEL ERROR” message
- In rare cases, something goes wrong when you are creating your account and it is not possible to retrieve the data anymore.
- The fastest way for you to gain access to Neurostatus is:
- Create a new account using a different email as the system does not accept the one already registered.
- Afterwards, please go to merge accounts option in this page and follow the instructions given.

Merge your Neurostatus e-Test accounts
Investigators who have used more than one email address in the past to access Neurostatus.net have one account for each email address.
If you are missing any data from a previous account, including e-Tests or Qualifications, you can send a request to the Neurostatus Support to merge your accounts into one personal Neurostatus e-Test account with an overview of all the studies you are participating in.

Updating your Email (when you do NOT have access to an old email)
If you do not have access to an old email associated to your neurostatus account, we can update the email. Please see below:

- We will then change your email address and reset your password!
- You should receive an email to proceed with the setup of a new password. If you are missing the e-mail, please check your SPAM Folder.
- Please ignore the e-mail with the confirmation code.
- If you have any other problems, please contact neurostatus.net support.
How do I can change my email?
If you want to change your email associated to your neurostatus account, please see below:
- The rater needs to Login
- Click «update personal data»

3. Click the pen icon besides your emailadress


4. Enter the new email and confirm that change with your password

Now you will receive a confirmation code to your new email
5. Please enter the confirmation code and click submit

Ask for participation in a study
If a rater wants to be added to a study, the rater must do the following:
1. Log in into his/her account
2. Click in ‘Ask for participation in a study‘
3. The study administrator should accept the request within one week*
*Neurostatus support cannot add raters to new studies. This is done exclusively by the study administrator. If the study administrator has not accepted the request within one week, the rater should either contact their study administrator directly or send another request.
Adding a rater to study for re-certification
If a rater wants to be added to a study, the rater must do the following:
1. Log in into his/her account
2. Click in ‘Request re-certification for another study ‘
3. The study administrator should accept the request within one week*
*Neurostatus support cannot add raters to new studies. This is done exclusively by the study administrator. If the study administrator has not accepted the request within one week, the rater should either contact their study administrator directly or send another request.
Deactivating a rater from a study
Neurostatus Support is not allowed to deactivate any rater from any study. Please request this action to the Sponsor study administrator.
Study certification
- The study administrator should confirm certifications
- Neurostatus support cannot confirm certifications to new studies. This is done exclusively by the study administrator.
